Easter peeps vs. fox

I hate to ruin the ending, but the poor little peeps do not fare well in this video with RonRon the fox. Who knew that foxes liked to eat peeps?

Washington Post - Annual Peeps Contest

Peeps at the Post

The Washington Post runs an annual Peeps contest that can't be beat. All that Peeps-related creativity is channeled into one contest, with predictable, amazing results. Peeps dioramas in 2011 included a reenactment of the Chilean miners rescue; a depiction of a split peep soup factory; an illustration of airport security challenges; and a re-creation of problems on D.C.'s Metro system.

It's like an excuse to put clothes on small pets, only Peeps don't complain or move around as much. And spring Peeps are just so cute, I could just pinch their little gummy cheeks. Those poor little Peeps. One of these days I'll enter this contest.

Solar Cooking Marshmallow Creatures

Peeps have long been used as subjects in cruel science experiments. Below is a link to a 1999 middle school solar cooker project -- using, you guessed it, a familiar-looking marshallow being.

Fortunately, the Peep seems to have prevailed, at least in the first experiment that was conducted.

Peep show from the Past...Adobe art show

I dug around and found a tiny flyer for a "peep show" that was held at Adobe (at company headquarters in San Jose, CA) several years ago. There was/is lots of creative talent at that company. (See image at right.)

If you really look closely...you'll see a peep in bondage, a Carmen Miranda-like peep, and a peep in either a white speedo, or his/her underwear. Enjoy.

Strange Peep Creatures

Owls and kitty cats? Poor little peeps. Human intervention or global warming? You be the judge.
